Memperkenalkan diri dimulai dengan "mengucapkan salam" kalian bisa mengucapkannya seperti ini :

- Annyeong chingudeul  (hi/selamat pagi/siang/sore/malam teman-teman). Salam ini dipakai kalau kita memperkenalkan diri ke teman-teman yg seumuran.

-  Annyeonghaseyo yeorobun (hi/selamat pagi/siang/sore/malam semua). Salam ini dipakai kalau kita memperkenalkan diri ke orang-orang yg tidak seumuran.

- Kalian juga bisamengucapkannya dengan kata "annyeong" atau "annyeonghaseyo" saja

Keterangan : Kata `yo` biasanya ditambahkan dibelakang beberapa kata untuk membuat kata menjadi lebih sopan. Korea itu negara yang sangat mementingkan kesopanan, makanya ketika berbicara dgn seseorang yang lebih tua tambahkan kata ´yo´ dikata-kata tertentu. Contohnya : annyeonghaseyo, mianhaeyo. Dll.

Dalam perkenalan diri ada yg namanya opening kan ? untuk opening perkenalan diri dalam bhs korea, kalian bisa mengatakan :

- Jeoneun sogae hagasseumnida (saya akan memperkenalkan diri)

- Jeoreul sogae hamnida  (saya memperkenalkan diri)

Yang pertama kita perkenalkan pastinya nama. Ehmm, untuk perkenalin nama kalian bisa menggunakan :

-          Jeoneun ..... imnida ( saya ....... )

-          Jeoneun ......-rago hamnida ( saya dipanggil dengan ….)

-          Je iremeun …… imnida ( nama saya adalah ...... )

Keterangan : titik-titiknya kalian isi sendiri dengan nama kalian.

Lanjut ke perkenalin umur dan tanggal lahir. Kata-kata yang bisa dipakai :

Untuk umur :

-  Jeoneun .... sal imnida ( umur saya ... )

Untuk tanggal lahir :

§     Umur umumnya menggunakan angka asli korea tapi bisa juga menggunakan angka sino korea. Penulisan tanggal lahir dikorea menggunakan angka sino korea.  Angka-angka korea bisa dilihat dicatatan yang dibawah

§     Cara penulisan tanggal lahir dikorea menggunakan urutan : tahun, bulan, dan tanggal.
